About The Summit

A New Generation Building Bridges Across Faiths

Northern Nigeria is home to millions of young Christians and Muslims who share communities, schools, workplaces, markets and a common future. Yet religious misunderstanding, intolerance, hate speech, misinformation, violent conflict and political manipulation of religious identity continue to threaten peaceful coexistence and social cohesion.

The Northern Nigeria Mega Interfaith Youth Summit creates a structured space where young Christians and Muslims can engage one another as partners in building a peaceful and prosperous society. The Summit places particular emphasis on Freedom of Religion or Belief (FoRB) as a fundamental human right and an essential foundation for human dignity, peaceful coexistence and democratic development.
